The mission of The Health Trust is to lead the Silicon Valley community to advance wellness. One of the campaigns they held was to enroll participants in a six-week workshop to help individuals learn about managing chronic diseases and/or diabetes.
Design is about understanding who the reader will be. For those with difficult eyesight, it was crucial that we pointed out the main message right away. The design had to be clean not just for readability, but also to convey a sense of peace of mind, i.e. a healthy body. But if we were to go with mere minimalism, it could have come out rather boring looking, and uninviting. With the limited space and a need for a clean look, we tried to let the colored typography and simple patterns lend itself to a aesthetic pleasantness.
